Just letting you all know that we will be doing the Faulconbridge Point Ride once again this week.

We will be starting the same time as last week, 630am at Springwood High.

no pictures this week as I have not been riding myself now for about 3 weeks due to illness. But i am trying to get there this Sunday to ride with you all.

Hi Lads

Well another Sunday morning is fast approaching and that means another ride.

This weeks ride will be an old fav, FAULCO POINT.!!!!!

The ride will start 630am sharp and if your late you will have some catching up to do.

I am on leave and have the flu (great combo,......NOT!) so wont be joining you again this week but I hope you guys really enjoy it.

Tomorrows ride will be White Cross. Meeting at Gloria Jeans at 630am.

Last weeks ride was fun and Ash brought some of his friends and family along as well. It was a great morning and a good ride was had by all.

This is a short Blog but I am running late for the snow and that means, unfortunately I will not be joining you on this weekends ride.

Welcome to the second ride for July 2010.

Anyone up for bee Nest Hill??? (riding down of course)

Well it was another beautiful winter morning last Sunday. A great time was had by all that came on the ride. We are still seeing some old faces and also some new one for the Sunday morning ride.
Faulconbridge point has been done two weeks running now so this week we will be doing Bees Nest starting at the nursery just down the road from St Columbus at Winmalee. This time we wont leave without you Dave. It will be 645 at the nursery and we will be leaving then sharp as some people have to be at church for duties.

I am putting out the call to anyone that knows the route from there to come as I have been reminded that I am away this weekend and will not be able to join you. If I cant find a guide we will have to change to white cross and do Bees Nest the following week so I can take you through without anyone getting lost. Please email rohanamanda@hotmail.com if you can do this.



We had a turn out of six. So far the biggest turn out was 9 so invite your mates and see if we can do better than that.




I got told I had to get in a shot to make sure I was not just making all this up.

Just thought I would share some shots of the Careflight race that was on the 27th June 2010. Both Eric Lewis and I went in this event and had a great time.

Just a side note Jono Shead had a bit of an accident doing the Oaks last weekend and will be out for the rides until he recovers. I am sure he would appreciate your prayers.

WOW What a week!!!!

Any who enough of that. This week the ride will be at Faulconbridge Point

Due to the lack of sunlight and the sheer cold weather the ride will start at 6:45 am at Springwood High School.

I really hope you guys have fun.

For those of us that have decided to something a little more crazy and booked themselves in, there is the Careflight Woodford to Glenbrook race. I myself will be entering into what I like to refer to as " MY DEATH WISH". If I dont make it back lads someone else will have to motivate the troops. Clive I am looking at you. So have a great ride and I will see you all on the Sunday following.

G'Day Lads,

Well we have been discussing for a while about starting a blog for our Sunday morning rides. So here is the first edition of the Springwood Baptist Mountain Bike Club (SBMBC).
On this site you will be able to check Ride details, Start details, Locations and photo's when they are taken and emailed to me. There are some great views.

There is always a ride on Sunday mornings, weather permitting, and from time to time some Saturday take place which are generally longer, such as the Oaks fire trail and the Andersons.

As this is the first there is not much in this blog but as time goes on you will see photos and stories of blokes coming off falling over and generally riding beyond our ability but having fun doing it in Gods creation.

The next ride is at White Cross 645 at Gloria Jeans on the 20th June 2010. Just have a look at the side for the Start location and map. Hope to see you there.
